Stray Hearts is a socially conscious animal shelter and adoption center. We help lost pets find their way home, care for homeless animals, match furry friends with forever families, and share resources for responsible pet ownership in Taos, New Mexico, and nearby communities.

Looking for a sweet, beautiful, and energetic buddy to hang out and hike with?

Meet Bear! 💛

This sweet, beautiful girl is looking forward to finding a home where she can play, run, eat delicious snacks, and snuggle up close at the end of a long day. Bear would do best in a more energetic household, and has done well with other dogs so far. We don't know the extent of her prey drive, so small pets may require extra consideration.

If you’re looking for a fun, energetic girl to be your best buddy, Bear might just be the one! 🐾
